Another new score has been added to the website - Trepidatious Dirge was originally written as ballet music for a one-act opera I wrote whilst at university. It is a setting of the anonymous 17th century (?) Lyke Wake Dirge for Chorus and Orchestra. Unfortunately the opera has never been performed, and as the years go by it seems less and less likely that it ever will be - hence the

Rehearsals have now started for Krisp Producktions' production of the Musical Goodnight Mister Tom. With a large cast of children and adults, it is one of the largest shows I have been Musical Director for, and will be performed at the Star Hall, Finedon, UK, between Wednesday 28th November and Saturday 1st December 2007. Two new scores, Piano Preludes 1 (In C Major) and 2 (In A Minor) have today been uploaded to the website. Don't know when any more will appear as they are not high on the priority list, (the horn piece is more important at the moment as it is longer and much more involved) but they will be written - eventually there should be twenty-four - one in each key! My website has been redesigned. It should now be easier to find scores as they are now grouped by instrumentation.My current project (taking forever - but underway at least!) is a piece for solo horn with orchestral accompaniment, based on a legend of Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye. I am also planning a set of pieces for solo piano along the lines of the Chopin piano preludes.
